Carlson Washington

New

The Carlson Washington is a rugged, keyboard-equipped data collector built to run Carlson SurvPC in difficult environments. It pairs an Intel® Atom™ quad-core processor, 8GB RAM, and a 5-inch chemically toughened touchscreen with optional survey-grade internal GNSS and dual hot-swappable batteries for a full day in the field.

The Carlson Washington brings modern high performance to a rugged, ergonomic form factor with a physical keyboard. Running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, it is built for Carlson’s full-featured SurvPC field software and connects to robotic total stations such as the Carlson CRx or GNSS receivers such as the Carlson Viking and BRx7, giving users advanced connectivity and total freedom in the field.

Entirely developed by Carlson, the Washington is built in Maysville, Kentucky for North American markets and in York, England for international markets. With the optional GNSS package, Carlson’s Gama RTK navigation engine delivers centimeter-level accuracy with the addition of a pole-mounted antenna, turning the Washington into a complete survey-grade positioning system on its own.

Two long-life 49 Wh hot-swappable batteries each provide seven hours of use, and an internal battery keeps the unit running while packs are changed, so a swap never interrupts your workflow. The included charging dock brings a battery back in under an hour. IP65-rated and drop-tested onto concrete, the Washington is ready for the toughest job sites.
